Bamboosero Bikes » Why Build?
Bicycle building can be the first step toward economic independence.
Building bamboo bikes on a local shop scale spreads out the little capital investment among many responsible individuals. Bamboo bikes don’t benefit from mass production techniques like a steel bike factory can. Sourcing the raw materials is far easier with bamboo so each area can support its own bike building operation.

The start of Bunabumali village shop. In september the first round of finance will mark the start of a real shop. More later
TimeDesk Africa
TimeDesk Africa started with this picture of a makeshift bridge. After almost 2 years chatting with Norman Nakhokoe resulted in an ambitious approach to rural development with the insta llation of 2 Naiade solar powered drinkwater and energy systems.
Next month we will be launching the Bunabumali online community which will give readers constant contact with a village in Africa.
This project is a demonstration of the power of Mindz.com and will combine all available web 2.0 tools and tricks in an atempt to bridge the gap between the connected and unconnected society
